Welcome to the web home of Frank Prophet. I think I've used the words 'glacial pace' more than a few times here, but music doesn't move in twitter time. Feel free to download any and all songs up on the site. The full 'Cerrillos Suite' album is still on the page sharing that title.
The glacier has been moving a bit, as you might notice from the new song playing here on this page. The circumstances for recording Threnody in B and, frankly, most new songs have been challenging... we'd like to think that this will just make the eventual final recordings better for each misstep along the way. More music in the near future, and there are a couple of stripped-down acoustic songs on the Working Titles page. These are from what I'm calling my Old Overholt Session, recorded in North Jefferson County at the cabin of a friend.
The last few weeks have provided a good base for what the album will eventually become. Nearly each song is selected, many are ready, now it becomes an issue of selecting a studio and all that tedious business that comes with making a creation created. Some of the musical developments have been quite exciting, but I am getting very close to speaking about a project too soon. More to follow.
