READY WHEN THE ROLL IS CALLED...

Welcome to the virtual dwelling space of Frank Prophet. Here you'll find whatever information is deemed sufficient about Frank, as well as information and updates on the ever-changing, many named but often nameless full band.

To those who have visited before, there are a number of new songs up on the Anathemas page. Some of these are from a while back, transferred by the enigmatic Gilpin from cassette recordings in Carlsbad, NM, Kansas City and Lawrence... maybe even a little Texas in there. At none of these little sessions was there a shortage of booze or other inspirational aides.

To those who haven't, proceed to the Cerrillos Suite page, where you can download the album for free. The only catch is clicking on the title, and, should you use Safari or Firefox, it will likely open up in Quicktime. Seems easier for you Windows users out there, where the tune will save in WM. Recently, a few songs have been uploaded to blip.fm, which is probably easier than from the site here. No objections from me on that.

A short Turkish language page has been added for my Turkish friends and family.

Gilpin and I have turned Tuesday electric at The Gaslight. We'll continue to do so for the foreseeable future. If you find yourself in Lawrence, Kan. on a Tuesday, that'd be my nightlife suggestion, biased however it is.

This winter will hopefully provide an opportunity to put out the album we've been working on for years. "Working on" meaning constructing intellectually and tracking in not-so-lp-worthy environments. The plan right now is to make the digital version available gratis, just like everything digital here, and to sell the long play, probably through the website and regionally. Considering 180 g vinyl, but we'll have to see how good it turns out. When the first snow falls, work begins in earnest. Stay tuned.
